Maker 13's River City Rumble
River City Rumble — Combat Robots Come to Jeffersonville!
Bolts will fly. Sparks will rain. Robots will absolutely wreck each other — and you've got a front-row seat.
On Saturday, August 1st, Maker 13 is throwing open its doors for a full day of combat robot mayhem. Builders from across the region are bringing their meanest, fastest, spinniest creations to do battle in an 8-foot arena, and only the toughest bots will roll away with the trophy. (Spoiler: not all of them will roll away in one piece.)
Never seen combat robots before? You're in for a treat. Picture remote-controlled machines armed with spinning blades, flippers, and hammers, going head-to-head in fast, loud, jaw-dropping fights. Some matches are over in seconds. Some go the distance. All of them are a blast to watch. Three weight classes will be slugging it out all day, from tiny one-pound "antweights" to the three-pound "beetleweight" heavy hitters.
