Covid 19 Operations
IMPORTANT UPDATE:
Makers,
We hope that you are healthy, well, and safe! Maker13 will be open for members only starting May 15th.
For the interim, the shop will be open the following hours:
Mondays 10:00am – 8:00pm
Tuesday 10:00am – 2:00pm
Wednesdays 8:00am – 8:00pm
Fridays 10:00am – 8:00pm
Saturdays 12:00pm – 8:00pm
Closed Thursday, and Sunday
We hope the lightened schedule is not an inconvenience to you and that you can utilize the new hours before and after your current day jobs.
We will have some new safety procedures in place. Please follow these to ensure that you keep yourself, our staff, and the other members healthy.
Most importantly, do not come to the shop for any reason if you are feeling sick or showing symptoms of Covid-19.
Please seek staff approval before inviting guests. We are limiting the amount of people in the shop at any given time.
Please book your equipment appointments 24 hours in advance. Walk-in appointments may be turned away. This is to ensure appropriate social distancing throughout the shop.
Equipment bookings will only be allowed to schedule 3 days in advance to prevent equipment blockages.
Must wear a mask at all times in the shop.
Please clean up your workspace with the appropriate disinfectant provided at each equipment station.
We kindly ask that you stop your appointment time 10 minutes early to clean up and not run into the next member’s appointment time. Failure to do so may lead to member suspension. Please be courteous to the fellow members.
The worktables and design computers must be booked as an equipment booking if you plan to use them or put your belongings on them.
These can be booked on our website or app along with the regular equipment.
These areas must also be wiped down with disinfectant before you leave the premises.
If you plan to work from the shop and do not need equipment, please book a coworking seat and a worktable.
This can be done on the website or app.
Please note that if you are not on the appointment schedule, you may not be allowed in. With the lighter schedule, equipment power-ups are not guaranteed and you should not plan for them.
Classes are on hold until June. We are trying to figure out a way to host one-on-one classes in a safe manner.
Thanks and be safe, The Maker13 Staff
